Want to get to know Arkadium? Go play their games. They have Flash, Facebook, iOS, and Windows options. They’re all low time-investment games that are fun to play and don’t need sustained attention.

Arkadium was named one of the “10 Great Entrepreneurial Places to Work” by The New York Enterprise Report,” so that should be enough incentive to make you check out their Jobs page.

Arkadium looks like a really cool place to work, and nobody will look down on you for playing games at your desk.

Catch The Fever

DramaFever is a New York, NY based company that gives “you a better way to find and watch the best TV and movies from around the world.” Their original focus was on Korean dramas, but they are rapidly expanding their offerings of tv shows and movies from Taiwan, China, Singapore and the Philippines. Bollywood films and latin telenovelas will come next. What’s interesting about DramaFever is that they target their content toward English speaking audiences, so it’s not just about giving expats the content that they miss from home.

The Internet is truly the ultimate platform for delivering video content. Anybody should be able to watch whatever they want wherever they want. Unfortunately, rights holders haven’t jumped on board as quickly as we’d all like. DramaFever still has to deal with all of that stuff, but they’ve done an exceptional job of making lots of content available for free (it’s ad supported). For users who can’t tolerate advertising and want to watch on mobile devices, there’s a premium membership. There’s a ton of money to be made bringing existing content to new markets, so it’s hard not to love what DramaFever is doing. If you want to join them, check out their Careers page.

Your Round Peg Can Fit In A Squarespace

Squaresapce was founded in a dorm room, and has been profitable from the start. The story is really cool, and you can read it on Squarespace’s Wikipedia page. While the company dabbled with a free offering early on, they quickly realized that there are plenty of places to build websites for free and that offering a premium product made for a better business. Just look at Squarespace’s templates–they allow anyone to publish on the web in a visually stunning way. Fell The Tremor

To understand what Tremor Video (TV for short) is all about, you should read The Televisionary Manifesto.

Video advertising used to be easy because audiences were captive. That’s not the case anymore, so now advertisers must convince consumers to start watching or keep watching. A Strong Foundation

The William J. Clinton Foundation, which is Little Rock, AR andNew York, NY based non-profit organization that aims to “improve global health, strengthen economies worldwide, promote healthier childhoods, and protect the environment by fostering partnerships among governments, businesses, nongovernmental organizations, and private citizens.”

The Foundation takes on some really big issues. To get a better sense of how the Clinton Foundation’s goals developed, you should definitely read the Foundation’s History. It will also fill you in on all of the different “initiatives” and parts of the foundation.
