Following a series of similar actions, the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration has ordered Norfolk Southern to pay more than $288,000 after finding that the railroad violated the whistleblower-protection provisions of the Federal Railroad Safety Act by retaliating against a worker who reported an on-the-job ...
