Nakamoto defamation suit dismissed

Judge Elizabeth Strance ruled in favor of Hawaii County, concurring with the county's argument that any injuries Elections Division Chief Pat Nakamoto suffered because of alleged defamation - remarks made about Nakamoto and an ongoing county investigation into possible misuse of county facilities - would be covered under worker's compensation.
