Birmingham-Hoover ranks 99 out of 100 U.S. metros in employment growth

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- Employment growth in Birmingham-Hoover has been flat since early 2010, leading Brookings to rank it 99th out of 100 U.S. metros in that category in the latest version of its Metro Monitor series.
